A Little About Me
My spiritual values and beliefs guide me in life and underpin all aspects of my work. Those values and beliefs include non-judgement, integrity, kindness, equality and the recognition that we are all connected; that none of us are perfect and that we are in essence, more than physical beings.
I have brought to my work as a Funeral Celebrant over the past 30 years and more, both formal qualifications and a lifetime of experience. My varied skills enable me to conduct funeral ceremonies which are authentic, heartfelt, reflective and dignified. Many people have said to me, ‘that was the best funeral I have ever been to.’

Meeting people at that defining moment of a loved one’s death, bearing witness to their grief and vulnerability, assisting them to honestly charter their loved one’s life journey, promoting the celebration of their loved one’s gifts and accomplishments as well as honouring the important role their loved one played in their own life’s journey; is not only rewarding work, it is my passion.

We attend a funeral because of the ties of love or friendship, to show respect, to give support or because we feel it is the right thing to do. We hope that our presence and expressions of sympathy and compassion will bring comfort to the bereaved. There may also be an unexpressed hope that we are doing something beneficial for the deceased.
